Vikram’s Deivathirumgal at the Filmfare Awards

The actor Vikram who got the "Best Actor" award for his Mani Ratnam directed Raavanan.

Actor Vikram rewarded Mani Ratnam for offering him a memorable role in Raavanan.

"Mani sir seemed to have reserved his most memorable character for me and I’m grateful to him for having faith in me to pull it off," says Vikram

Later when asked to compare his two characters in Raavanan and Deivathirumagal, Vikram smiled and said: "I never compare two characters. 

I’m quite happy playing diverse types of roles. Director Vijay’s Deivathirumagal has shaped up very well and you better watch out for that one!"
