National award winner Vetrimaran is hectic finalising his next film following the critically acclaimed Aadukalam.
At first Vetrimaran was likely to work on a script by his mother Mekala Chithravel, who is also a writer. Vetri has usually respected his mother and cherished her unconditional support.
Asked if he’s going to work on such a script, he says, “Right now I’ve no such plans, however I would love to if the opportunity arose.”
Apparently the director is focusing on a period movie for his next project. Kollywood buzz says that DhayaAlagiri will produce the movie.
The project is really expensive, with a budget in excess of Rs 50 crores.
The movie director is going to cast leading heroes like Ajith, Vijay, Suriya and Vikram. About his next movie, he says, “I have still not decided on my cast. I am finalising the script.”
Actor Suriya has openly admitted that he would like to act under Vetrimaran’s direction.
Other leading stars want to work with him too.
