Trisha is rushing back to India

Trisha is rushing back to India after a month-long shoot of her ambitious film Manmadhan Ambu opposite Kamal Haasan in exotic locations of Europe and on board a luxury cruise liner.

Trisha will be in Mumbai a day before the release of her first Hindi film Khatta Meetha, with Akshay Kumar. News about her director and mentor Priyadarshan being miffed that she is not doing any promotion for the film has upset the actress.

But what can the poor girl do, as she had committed earlier to the Kamal film long before the release date of her Bollywood debut film was finalized. Anyway as a damage control exercise, Trisha will be in Mumbai for the premiere and other promotional activities of Khatta Meetha.

What has come as a relief for Trisha is that the film carries “very positive pre-release reports” among industry people. Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan held a sneak preview of the film, and the buzz on it is positive.

Meanwhile Trisha has tweeted that – “My very first Hindi release is getting closer and closer. So I need all you guys to pray for me.”
