Suriya’s ‘Singam’ will remake in Hindi

Suriya’s blockbuster ’Singam’ will be remade into Hindi soon.

The remake will have Ajay Devgn in the lead and directed by Rohit Shetty. Reliance Big Pictures, which had co-produced the Tamil version, will produce the remake.

Rohit had made his debut with an action flick ’Zameen’ and later turned to comedy with films such as ’Golmaal’. The third sequel to ’Golmaal’ has been released this week.

Singam’ stars Suriya in the role of a daredevil cop and Anushka played the female lead. Prakash Raj played the villain and Vivek provided the comic relief. A highlight of the movie was the thumping tunes from Devi Sri Prasad.
