The Chennai Trade centre wore a festive look as stars of the big screen and small descended on it for the Sun Kudumbum Virudhu Vizha held in a grand manner.
The awards have been given to the winners of best serials contest carried out via sms and opinion polls as well as to actors in 12 categories including best father, villain, brother, director, actor etc.
Winners of awards under various categories included Radhika Sarathkumar, Ramya Krishnan, Vijaykumar and others. Kolangal and Thirumathi Selvam seemed to bag a good number of the awards under various categories.
A sizzling song and dance programme was held in which artistes Rukmini, Raghava Lawrence, Meghna Naidu, Raghav, Kamlesh and Sindhu danced.
Also spotted at the event were Sneha, Gautham Menon, Ramesh Kanna, Editor Antony and RD Rajsekar amongst others.
