Producer cum Actor Udayanidhi Stalin has said that, he wanted to do the role that Madhavan essayed in ‘3 Idiots’ when Shankar announced the remake in Tamil.
The producer-actor has said that he even approached the producers of ‘Nanban’ with a request to cast him in the film, but later changed his mind.
Udayanidhi will be making his debut as hero in ‘Oru Kal Oru Kannadi’ which is being directed by Rajesh of ‘Boss Engira Bhaskaran’ fame.
Sources close to Udayanidhi has said that he wanted to make his debut through a comedy flick and when Rajesh came up with the script he decided to do the role.
