Director Vetrimaran in trouble to choose cast

Director Vetrimaran faces casting issues each time. Last time, it was Trisha opting out for better opportunities when she got Kamal Hassan’s ‘Marmayogi’. When the film was dropped, Trisha was not any worried as she had several films in hand as one of the top actresses of Kollywood.
Later, Director Vetrimaran cast Tapasee to complete the film after much trouble. Once, Dhanush told on a Television show that Vetrimaran was the one who remained with him even after becoming a director.
While Dhanush helped other newbie directors, all of them left Dhanush out for their second films. But it was Vetrimaran who cast Dhanush twice and told him that he would stay with him for his next film.
Vetrimaran rightly did so and so Dhanush gifted Vetrimaran a car worth Rs. 30 lakhs as a token of friendship. Meanwhile, while shooting for Aadukalam, rumors mills suggested that Vetrimaran narrated his next script to ‘Simbu’ without Dhanush’s knowledge which made Dhanush angry.
The actor is said to have sought revenge by not being easy on his call sheet. He made Vetrimaran wait and delayed the release of the film. Now, Vetrimaran, whose next film is said to be ‘Vada Chennai’, although it was termed ‘dropped’ by Dhayanidhi Alagiri’s Cloud Nine Movies, which went onto produce another film of his, will have new actors instead of heroes, say sources.
Vetrimaran sought Karthi, Simbu and other actors and it is said that he will go with new actors, if ‘Vada Chennai’ happens to be his next film. For now, the director is busy in getting his ‘Aadukalam’ released by Sun Pictures in Pongal.
Both Dhanush and Vetrimaran are waiting for the film’s release to move on to their next project.
