Following the arrest of Nityananda from his hide-out at a businessman’s residence in Solan, Himachal Pradesh, actress Ranjitha could also be arrested sooner than later, sources say.
Nityananda was arrested jointly be a team of Karnataka and Himachal Pradesh State Police teams from Solan and was brought to Bangalore by the afternoon. The arrest was preceded by the ‘scandalous expose’ of a video by a private Tamil television channel, which repeatedly aired more than a month ago sequences of Ranjitha in a ‘compromising act’ with the tainted Swami.
Ranjitha is said to be putting up at a secret location in Kerala. Soon after the ‘expose’ of the sex video, both Ranjitha and Nityananda went underground. After a prolonged search, the Karnataka Police zeroed in on the Swami at Solan yesterday. In the wake of his arrest, sources say that Ranjitha’s arrest might be made at any time.
After the video surfaced, Ranjitha later claimed that she was only ‘offering services a devotee would offer a Swami’ and that the video was a ‘morphed’ one. Nityananda, on the other hand, said that he was in a sort of ‘trance’ and said that he was ‘unaware’ of what happened during, before and after the video was shot.
It was also reported that Nityananda’s aides and followers tried their best to ‘shield’ Ranjitha by moving her from place to place in many European countries but now it appears that the actress is somewhere in Kerala.

Aw, this was a really quality post. In theory I’d like to write like this too – taking time and real effort to make a good article… but what can I say… I procrastinate alot and never seem to get something done.
