In the past, Venkat Prabhu, brother Premji, Jai, Vaibhav and Vijay Vasanth were known as one happy family or the Chennai 28 gang in Kollywood circles.
Like every family having their share of squabbles, and infighting, these friends too had their share of small misunderstandings.
Every person knows that it was Venkat’s Chennai 28 and Goa which made Jai a household name and he went on to do solo hero films, which all bombed at the box-office.
But a little birdie lets us know that Venkat and Jai have fallen out and don’t see eye to eye these days!
The main reason, they say is a little fight that erupted at a party thrown by Dhayanidhi Alagiri between Vaibhav and Jai that led to the rift in the Chennai 28 gang!
Even so, the rumour is the fact common friends like Silambarasan aimed to patch up the buddies but ended up in vain.
We hope that the good friends bring together and do more films together.
